The Emergency Medical Service (EMS) department is a critical part of Hawassa College of Health Sciences. The department provides training for students to become pre-hospital emergency medical technicians.  The department comprises instructors, technical assistants, and students, and is equipped with dedicated simulation and classroom spaces.  The collective aim of the department is to deliver quality education and equip the students with professional ethics to save the life of people.
