Very welcome to the official website of Hawassa College of Health Sciences (HCHS), a leading public higher education institution in Ethiopia. HCHS has been dedicated to teaching, research, and community service for the past 45 years.  The college comprises seven departments and over 350 academic and administrative staff, all working towards the ambitious goal of becoming one of the top ten health science training and research institutes in Ethiopia.  A key component of this mission is the provision of high-quality services, including a well-organized and up-to-standard Library and Documentation Services (LDS).

The Vice Dean for Student Services and Logistic Supply Directorate plays a vital role in supporting this mission.  This office oversees several crucial areas, including College Logistics Supply, the College Library and Documentation Services, the College Photo Copy and Duplication Unit, and Student Services (encompassing the Students First Aid Center, Students Guidance and Counseling, and the Students Union).  The directorate leads and coordinates these units to ensure effective and efficient service delivery for students, the internal and external community, and to foster a positive environment for the college's core teaching and learning processes.  HCHS looks forward to collaborating with other higher education institutions, research institutes, organizations, and stakeholders to improve society.
